Fabricated Worlds: Making Strange.

The task was to take an object you're not familar with and to make it something else, I took the opportunity to study the robe from one of my favourite Blue Mountains metal outfits -Mother Eel.

(The band itself is very familar to me, I just don't wear lime green robes nor satin nightslips when I drum)

The second image reminds me of a side view of a leaf.

Studio Extension response to Richard Serra's list of doing words..
my word was 'to shorten'..inital thoughts were to have him hanging, as in a shortend life,shortend noose,etc.

I'll have to post this blog in two parts, not because i've something exciting to say but rather my blog won't let me upload any more images.

Started Uni last week and for some reason i am completely overwhelmed,for no particular reason.

Safest to assume, it's just not the sea change i was hoping for per se.

Been feeling a tad emotionally redundant,every step i come closer to living the dream i'm not too sure who's dream it is i'm living.

So i'll be taking the next month on board to finish off some things and breathe a little.
